Bipolar disorder, sometimes called “manic-depressive disorder” is associated with mood changes that range from the lows of depression to the highs of mania, energy, hypomania and depression. When an individual is depressed usually feel sad or hopeless and lose interest or pleasure in the daily life and when mood shifts to the other direction, the individual may feel euphoric and full of energy. Mood shifts are completely normal in all individuals and may occur only a few times in life. Bipolar disorder causes symptoms of depression and mania that occur many times in the same week, day or even worse, at the same time.

MY INTRODUCTION
When speaking about disorders of
personality, mental diseases, emotional problems or other terms referring to
states of people who present some mental disease; we can be faced with the
challenge to understand the human being in its totality, which invites us to
integrate and understand all the spaces that conform a human being such as mental,
cultural, social and physical space. Bipolar Disorder is one of the oldest
mental disorders, that have been studied from many years ago and that has
always been considered a genetic mental disorder; which still unknown. Bipolar
Disorder severely undermines its victim’s ability to obtain and maintain social
success reason why bipolar disorder is one clear example of how the mind can
control a human life. The purpose of this paper is giving a profound research
about bipolar disorder and the role of the mind in healing this disorder in the
body.
